“Once again Saltmarch has knocked it out of the park with interesting speakers, engaging content and challenging ideas. No jetlag fog at all, which counts for how interesting the whole thing was."

Time is arguably one of the most precious resources we have, yet one we never seem to have enough of as individuals, as teams, or as organisations. We slog all day, constantly keep 'doing' only to have a feeling of 'so much left to do at the end of the day' and not checking off even a quarter of our to-do's. We wonder where all the time in the day went.
The same holds good for our teams and organisations as we unrecognisably get trapped by the thieves of time that prevent us from getting work done. In this session, Deeptha will address these thieves of time and how they impact us in real time today within our realm of work. You will hear from her on how they show up in your agile product development teams in real life, ways to recognise them, and make the kind of improvements that matter to trap them and take back control.
In this talk, Deeptha will share her team's experience embarking on a journey to make work and flow visible across the product development value stream and how they have done so collaboratively between product, engineering, design and architecture functions. You will also learn the important tenets they kept in mind while doing so and how it helped them create habits that lead to a virtuous cycle of healthy, sustainable, and improvable work by visualising work and paying attention to flow.
