Dr. Gorur Shrinivas leads Marketing Engineering at Bengaluru-based Target, an extension of the U.S. retailer Target’s headquarters operations. In this role he is responsible for advancing our Marketing Tech Capabilities in support of key growth strategies including Loyalty, Roundel, Creative and Personalization. Target, a leading discount retailer with over $100 billion in sales, serves guests at nearly 1,900 stores and on Target.com in the U.S.

Shrini has a strong track record in product engineering, technology strategy, entrepreneurship and numerical analysis. He loves problem-solving, especially when it involves innovatively using technology to solve transformative business problems. He is also committed to mentoring startups and enhancing gender diversity in technology.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, reading, gardening and traveling. He also enjoys all things space and science. Shrinivas is a graduate of IIT Bombay and holds a doctorate degree from the University of Oxford.
