Turbocharging React Grid Performance

About the Session

With JavaScript, achieving reliable performance is difficult  due to factors like dynamic type system and garbage collection pauses, among others. This poses a challenge when scaling JavaScript-based data grids for real-time applications. We overcame this challenge by leveraging a host of technologies in innovative ways to build a feature-rich React Grid that can scale for real-time use cases.

Through this session, we’ll demonstrate our capability to develop feature-rich performant data grids by utilizing available technologies in innovative ways. We’ll showcase this by using a simple example of how we have effectively leveraged the combination of WebAssembly and Web Workers to address performance issues in real-time web applications.
