Communication Patterns for Distributed Architectures

Originally aired:

About the Session

By their very nature, distributed applications have to communicate. But, how do we exchange data and what are the consequences of choosing one solution over the other, in terms of ease, cost, impact on extensibility, and so much more? In this presentation, we will discuss different patterns, their benefits, and the consequences of using them.

Target Audience: This session is primarily aimed at Software Architects, as they are responsible for designing distributed systems and need to understand how different communication patterns impact scalability, performance, and maintainability. Back-end Developers are a secondary audience, since they implement these communication patterns and must understand the trade-offs associated with them. Additionally, OpsTech Professionals would benefit from this session as the communication strategies used in distributed systems affect deployment, resilience, and operational efficiency.
