Sujit Kamthe is a software engineering leader with more than 16 years of experience building distributed systems, leading engineering teams, and delivering complex software at scale. His work spans cloud-native architecture, data engineering, enterprise applications, digital products, and platform engineering.
Today, his focus is on how AI is changing software engineering. He works at the intersection of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and Agentic AI, designing production-grade AI systems that combine LLMs, orchestration, structured outputs, retrieval, observability, and enterprise governance.
Throughout his career, Sujit has led cross-functional engineering teams, defined technology strategy, modernized platforms, and built scalable software systems. His current interests include Agentic AI and LLM systems, AI-assisted software engineering, distributed systems, cloud architecture, developer productivity, platform engineering, system design, and engineering leadership. He writes and speaks about practical software engineering and how the role of engineers and technical leaders is changing in the AI era.
