Senior Director – Technology, Target in India
Sreedevi (Sree) is Senior Director of Technology, at Target in India, the global capability center (GCC) of US-based retailer Target. Target serves guests(customers) at nearly 2,000 stores, and on Target.com in the U.S.
She currently leads teams that develop ‘Enterprise Item Systems’ where item (product) data is collected, corrected and published for all of Target. Item information is the life blood of a retail business and powers a majority of business processes.
Sree joined Target in 2019 and led Search, Checkout and Returns services prior to joining the Item team. These services provided the underlying technology to help guests find relevant products, buy or return them at Target’s stores, via our website or our App.
She has extensive experience leading high performing teams across continents, employing product engineering practices, frameworks, technology and tools to build capabilities and help power a rich digital experience in a multitude of domains that include banking, travel and retail.
Sree has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from BITS, Pilani.
