Prathap Narasimhan is Director of Engineering (core commerce portfolio) at Target in India, the global capability center (GCC) of US-based retailer Target, where he leads the Available To Promise (ATP) platform that computes enterprise inventory availability for digital traffic at Target. Target serves guests at nearly 2,000 stores, and on Target.com in the U.S.
Prathap has over 20 years of experience across consulting, product and platforms, and is passionate about problem solving and thought leadership at the intersection of retail and technology.
Over the past few years, he has been involved in building multiple large scale distributed platforms in retail and digital commerce ecosystems. Prior to his current role, Prathap led the development of ML platforms for markdown pricing and optimization capabilities at Target.
