Event-driven Programming 101

About the Session

Event-driven programming is a natural fit for applications whose control flow is based on internal or external events and not on its structure. The core idea of event-driven programming is that the application is designed to react. A default paradigm in software engineering today, Event-driven Programming can be practiced with any programming language.

Attend this short talk to learn how building systems around an event-driven approach to programming makes building applications intuitive and flexible. You will also see some use cases along the way and go back with an understanding of when and how you can apply this paradigm at your work.
